3GT rear renders - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

The brand new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, will hit the market in early 2012 and will cost around 6,000 euros more than the 3 Series sedan.
Also, BMW prepares for the the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show the X4…

Not a fan of this design direction. They should put their energy into developing a F30 Gran Coupe style car with an engine from the 335is.

why must housewives be forced to accept a crossover instead of the station wagon? the margin of profit is that high?

This is ridiculously awkward design even if it looks better than 5er GT,
and the wrose part is the level of uselessness had broke the meter.

and what would you purchase instead? The only car imho that can replace the e90 is the f10...

Lovely. However, no way on earth is this current BMW going to release a car with such a cool looking front. It will have the simple face of the new 5 series but in a smaller size.

Please bring back Bangle. The rear of the new 5 series and 7 series are the most beautiful rears I have ever seen on any cars but the fronts are just too boring for words.

Maybe its just the angle but that looks like it would make a better 3 series Gran Coupe than a 3 series Gran Turismo. I.e. the body looks more 4-door coupe than 5-door sedan to me.

Or maybe BMW will combine the two ideas into one and just do a 3 series Gran Turismo Coupe. Hey if coupes can have four doors in this day and age then I don't see why they shouldn't be able to have five.
