found last night that if you shoot fast enough on the M21 your first two shots will hit the same spot. Freaking love the M21 with ACOG. I have weird taste in weapons I know. I love the FAMAS, P90, and the M21. whatever. My k/d is almost always over 2:1

Another question about "prestiging." I got to Level 70 last night. I'm trying the AK47, and I like it. I'll get to the 1st prestige level pretty soon. When I do, can I turn it down but then choose to do it later? Or is it a one-time choice? I'd like to stay at Level 70 and play around with the AK-47 for a while, but eventually I think it would be fun to go ahead and prestige and start over.

You have the option to prestige. In the Barracks I think it's listed as "Prestige Mode" and after clicking that you have to confirm twice before it will actually do it.

I've been sitting at level 70 1st prestige for a couple days now because I want to use the AK.

Those little "marksman" emblems -- those are only available once you prestige, right? For example, the AK47 one says you need to "Complete AK-47 Veteran II." That challenge is only for prestige?

I want to get one of those little medals for the SCAR, since all the challenges are complete except 500(?) head shots, but I'm close. However, I won't waste my time completing it if it's not available until you prestige. Stupid, I know, but you don't see many people with those emblems.

Also, FWIW the AK-47 shot in short bursts seemed pretty good when I was using it. I liked it.

The AK is the most under rated gun in the game. Its takes special skill with this gun and im not joking. Just the scar-h, the AK takes 2 to 3 bullets to kill someone. The trick is to burst fire it and not unload on someone.

The only thing weak about this gun is the accuracy which can be easily fixed with the first perk. Other than that its a perfect gun. Thats why its takes 70 levels to achieve it.

I truly hate the AK and the FAMAS. But if you can use the Ak like BK does then watch out, because you have something bad coming your way.

Not to mention what the AK can do with stopping power and FMJ attached.

I have around 450 head shots with my SCAR-H, but even if I stick around and get it to 500, I don't get this emblem unless I prestige, right? If so, I won't stick around Level 70 all that long, maybe just to play with the AK, but not to try to get my 500 headshots with the SCAR.

BTW, I dont believe that FMJ actually makes a gun any more potent to whoever said that. I have since dumped the FMJ for extended mags and use scavenger to pick up numerous claymores. if you dont believe me. go to modernwarfare247.com and read a little. those crazy bastards hacked the game to see all the mathematical formulas in the game.

No no, since you have gone this far with 450 head shots, whether you prestige or not, your number count for head shots will continue without erasing.

For example,

lets say your level 70 and you have 450 head shots. And you prestige to level 1 and you play a game after and get a head shot with the same gun, you will go up to 451* and so on and so one.

500 head shots for any rifle gets you a GOLD Emblem
1000 head shots for any rifle gets you a GOLD Title

I currently have 761 had shots with the scar, 1000 will take forever.

Depends how you play though? Do you camp? Rush? mid game?

I got 47 kills and 5 deaths in wasteland with my scar-h with red dot & FMJ. No stopping power. I have a pic if you like to see

Wells I can see how shooting through walls would help you there in the pit in wasteland. But it doesnt actually take less bullets to kill with FMJ.

To answer your question I do camp. But I like to think its strategic camping. Scavenger + claymore is a killstreak waiting to happen. Once I get a harrier I generally find a new spot though cause my harrier will get my pave low for me.

Awesome, that's great news. I figured the head shot number reset to zero.

And FWIW, my loadout about 75% of the time was SCAR-H silenced, 2x Rangers, Claymores, Stuns, Scavenger, Stopping Power, and Ninja. IMO the SCAR is great with the iron sights.

I just got 3 nukes in a row last night and the 3rd game I had 55-1 score. Stealth is your friend, I was using:

UMP silenced, USP Silenced
Marathon
Cold Blooded
Ninja

Harrier, Chopper Gunner, Nuke

They were HC S&D games, I mainly ran to where the enemy wasn't going to be and shot them without seeing me. Just get the Harrier (7 kills) and find a good hiding spot, the Gunner will come soon enough then it's game over (just try not to kill your teamates with the gunner).
