That is correct BK. You get a new badge and I think it opens up another custom slot. Not worth it IMHO.

It does take longer to level now. If you think 51 is bad, wait till you get to 60+. You should master your guns to get exp. that'll probably help you gain exp faster.

You don't need to go prestige mode, you can stay at 70. You have to go select prestige mode and confirm a few times to go prestige. I think it's worth it to do prestige once, cause you get an extra custom slot. Then I think you get it ever 3 times you level up prestige (not really worth it IMO). You end up with 10 custom slots after prestige level 10.

it doesn't "seem" that way, it actually does. As you level up you need more exp to reach the next level. I think I'm a 67 and I need ~79,000 points to get the the next level.

So who's completely finished the spec ops missions? I've been working through them with a buddy and have 66 stars, we still need one star on wetwork and two on high explosive.

I dont think Ill prestige again. you get another after your third prestige. Ill prob just try to master all the guns. If I feel like i need more slots, then ill do it again but dont see that happening.

So, once you prestige, all that work with the guns goes down the tubes, right? You start at zero again with the weapons, too? Just trying to understand the prestige.

You see a lot of 1st level prestige, some 2nd level, very few 3rd. The other night, there was a guy with level 10 prestige and at level 70. He didn't seem like he played all that well. I figured he hacked to get that, right? How sad is that?

You start at zero again with guns and challenges. The only thing that don't reset is the prestige challenges, titles, and emblems you've erned. Don't worry about those higher prestige guys. It's just a symbol.

Im on my 4th prestige, and I lose all my guns every time. I just keep my titles, emblems, and bragging rights..

You do not start at ZERO if you prestige. You start at 1. You only upgrade you RANK as you prestige..

Do you have MW2 on 360? or PS3?

Those people you see with high rank and poor scores is that they earned that rank level by "boosting."

Boosting is a method players use to boost their scores and rank. Its almost like cheating but once they play in a game with good players, they will be put in their place. They basically take a short cut to "look," cool but suck as in reality.

One way to see if they are good players is by checking their kill/death ratio and hwo many people they have killed.

I have it on PS3. A few days ago, I met up with a few other guys, and now we have grown to 5 or 6 guys each night playing as a clan together. Only one or two of us are really good, the rest are okay but not great. Still, we tend to win because we all have headsets and we're working as a team. Much more fun this way.

Yes you can check if they are your friend. Or you search them through the world. It will take forever. But if you add them as a friend you can check any stat about them easily.

You can move your PS3 savegame file on to USB stick and then edit it. I think the prestige hack works something like this. There are also hacks that you can do by deleting patches etc. My brother has done this too, I'll find out how you do it.

+1 I suppose I could see hacking to get all weapon attachments and pro perks unlocked but I don't see the point of hacking for a higher rank.
