$5 for 1 real track. Wow, that kinda sucks. I was really hoping for the Times Square track to make a return. Spa is still a great track though.
That X2011 looks badass! But the Toyota Prius Touring Car makes me chuckle, lol. They say the Stig's outfit is in this game already, but I have yet to see the damn thing. I've been trying to get it since they came out with the suits and helmets. |

For $12 I'm just going to get the whole thing. Two new tracks, a dozen kick ass cars (other than the Prius), cool paint chips and some sick racing suits seem like that money is worth it.
I believe PD should bring back their old tracks in a free update since they should have been in the game to begin with. Not sure how many other racing games lose tracks over the years... Still excited as hell for this though

I'm not thrilled over the prize money drop though. That really killed it for me. I'll keep playing, but now the seasonal races are just blah to me.
I am really liking this new GT-R N24 though, its not the fastest thing in the world, but it handles like a dream. EDIT: Also, the new opening movie is pretty damn cool once you get past the pointless factory segment. |

I hear ya on the prize money. But I got nearly 18mil saved up so I'm good for a while
I just got that N24 GTR as well and I'm having a blast with it. The standard interior views are only worth using on the open-cockpit cars like the Le Mans prototypes and the Caterham. Also I can't really tell how they improved the physics but it still feels good. And now that we have control over the weather and better replay controls I'll be taking a lot more now

They gave you an X2010 just for downloading 2.0? I only have one courtesy of Mr. Vettel.
And holy hell... I was racing against my friend online for about 3 hours. He is one of the best drivers I know (real and virtual) and we had a blast. Shuffle races with random but equally fast cars and then we did 3 lap shootouts with the exact same car. We were never more than .5 seconds apart. I have never had that much fun with GT5 before. Forza what?

I got it before 2.0. I logged in on Monday, got upgraded to whatever pre 2.0 it was, got the car. Last night I logged in again and then was prompted to go 2.0. 2.0 was about a 1.1GB download. Whatever was before it was about 68MB, which was probably the car.
Another thing of note...some in-car views have a bug where the steering wheel doesn't turn. I've seen it happen more often than not. The hands move accordingly (and interestingly, are rendered as soon as they come from behind the wheel) but the wheel is static and just turned to the left (IIRC). |

Interesting...
I think the interior views are a joke. I don't even use it unless it's an open-cockpit Le Mans prototype or the Caterham 7. It's surprisingly accurate on the BMW V12 LMR.

At least you can get it. Apparently someone in their infinite wisdom is screwing those with mismatched regions. The DLC is region locked. As I have a US PS3, and a UK game, I'm screwed. So I need to swap with someone who may have the reverse of my situation. Such an easy fix...
