I keep wishing BMW would make the next 3 look exactly like the E36 and these renderings make me wish just a little harder.

I know it'll never happen but I truly think the E34 and E36 were pretty much the best looking BMWs besides the face lifted E46 coupes and the E46 M3 CSL (which came out before the face lift but looks amazing)

Actually I'm gonna stop being so crazy, the E90 LCI looks much, much better than my E90 and I really liked the 750i in person so I'm sure whatever BMW comes up with for the next generation 3 series will be nice.

Its along these lines that the current 3 should have looked, I like it.

Message to BMW, please please keep the size contained. The growth in car sizes is getting out of hand. I was parked next to a new Vauxhall Insignia the other day and it dwarfed my car but most shocking was the difference in height especially the lower edge of the window which was 3" higher on the other car. The BMW was much the more elegant and airy.

if this does come out to production i will appreciate my e92 much much much more lol..
it has some nice lines and definitions but those lights and grills n roof line gota be fixed IMO.

they should keep this same body but give it a tight bit wider hips around the rear wheels, and some more definition on the hood and minor adjustments to rear and front bumper..

ok now im just wishing too much lol il shut up !

that's because if you took away the light cluster on the trunk itself, it would be pretty much the same arse as on the C-class.

Looks like a shrunken 7 series too me. I'm glad at least we are all past the CS Concept chops overlayed on every single bloody model. ... .

Thats pretty much the worry for a lot of people. The E92 compared to the rest of the BMW models is the most loved and in my opinion perfect. Pretty much the reason they put the coupes front on the M3 sedan.

side-view mirrors are god awful (second and third pic) ...way to big. looks like those monsters on the C-class.

The problem with this photo is there is no "wow" factor, nothing saying wow look at that new BMW. The front is ok but the rear just blends in with all the other cars out there like say the Lexus IS350 rear tailights.
