What a bunch of morons. Any "ugly car" reviewer that doesn't include the Pontiac Aztec or the PT Cruiser in their list needs their head testing.

Pointless exercises number 351

Does it really matter?

OK to me the 1er is ugly, but then I used to love Ford Capri's. Personally I love the look of the E61 5 tourer (that I own), but I know that view is not shared by everyone. I have always thought the Porsche 911 was pig ugly with its frog eye headlights, but hey, many people thought it was the dogs b*ll*cks. So what do I know? In fact what does Google know either?

If we all shared the same view of beauty we would all be fighting to court the same woman/man. So live and let live.

If you like (or love) the 1er then ignore the ignorants who dont like it. All the best to you all.

Andy.

No offense to the 128i owners, but I think the 128i and 135i are worlds apart in looks. Notice the yahoo article even uses the 128i for the example. The more aggressive and sportier looking aero kit and wheels really help the 1 in the looks department.

The 128i and 135i look worlds apart to me and the photo Yahoo supplied doesn't do the car justice at all. 2nd photo is my car the day I bought it. I can understand why some wouldn't find it beautiful (personally I love the looks), but it is a long shot from being the ugliest. I don't think the 335i sedan looks as nice as the 1.

I know my car's ugly, but it's not boring at least. And I don't have to live with myself driving a Camry..i mean...3-series.

What if you drive both a 1 and a 3?

Good to see a owner of 135i admits their car is ugly
If a 335 sedan reminds you of a camry, then 135 must be a scion TC..

I'm pretty sure the 1 series has to be one of the most hated BMW.

I'm not mad at all. I purchased my 135i after my 335i E90 because I think it's a better car in almost every way. I've also gotten nothing but compliments and thumbs up in the 1 while never a word while driving the 3. But good job adding to the notion that BMW owners are pompous jackasses.

If 135i is such a better car than what's the point of having a 335i ?

BMW owners are jack ass? At least I am not the one getting butt hurt since yahoo rated your 1 series the ugliest car..
