do you realize how freakin rich they are over there? The guy probably forgot he bought it like how I sometimes forget I bought a shirt after I hang it up in the closet...

lol, I don't know about buying a shirt, hanging it, and forgetting I bought it.....but yes, the sheikhs there are EXTREMELY rich.......he must have forgot where he parked it and gone and bought another one....

Yes, in Dubai they write comments on the car in English... get some fucking perspective people. Judging by "Judging from the plates, the lonely 500-hp coupe is parked in Dubai", the editors don't even know where it's parked.

While it may be easy to assume it's in Dubai, since it has Dubai plates, the writing indicates it may also be in some slavic country...or russia...lol, foreign letters detected.

I've been to Dubai. English is not exactly scarce. Good point though.

The thing that you need to realize (my family lives in UAE) is that many people do travel a months time and during this particular time (2-3 months) the weather was all dusty. I mean you leave a car for couple of days and it gets ALOT ALOT of dust - especially if you live close to a construction area. (the probability of being around one is VERY high).

If this person had to travel for a month or 2 -- I wont be surprised it would look like that. But again - he should garage it or give it to someone to take care of it. On the plus side, the dusty windows will prevent the interior leather get direct contact with the HOT sunlight!!

Guys think about it...the car has prob been sitting there, not drive, for a few weeks. This is Dubai...an amazing country with prices and people making moneyyy. They use this car for a few days then switch up to the SLR they have sitting in the garage. Of course Im speaking for a few people, but that is one of the wealthiest countries in the world.

I don't think you understood what I said. I wasn't surprised that in Dubai they know English. I spent most of my life in that region. I was mostly amused that because it has those plates and that "in Dubai they are all rich they would do something like that" was a bit shallow of an assumption.

Additionally Dubai is a major import/export hop for automobile imports into the far east and eastern Europe. This can very well be a loading dock at another place with car arriving and departing.

That's not shallow. First off, it was meant as a joke. Secondly, the ratio of a shirt:my income equals some peoples' M6:income. Filthy rich doesn't even begin to explain the wealthy people over there. I'm not generalizing about Dubai; I'm generalizing about the large percentage of inhabitants there who have more money than they could spend in thirty lifetimes. "In that region" and Dubai itself are two totally different concepts as well....
