This is a photo composite of my upper right arm. From Left to Right. Back, side and front of my arm. The "fruit" is Ackee and the bird is known as a Doctor Bird in Jamaica AKA Streamertail and can only be found in Jamaica. This took a little over 6 hours to complete.

Here's a detail shot.

I'm going back Aug. 13th to get my other half-sleeve done.

+1 couldnt have said it better. i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but to say that there hasnt been one 'descent' tattoo yet is somewhat rude and asshole-ish in my eyes. my ink means a lot to me and if you dont like it i dont give a fuck, but dont be a jackass about it. and for what its worth, you meant 'decent' not 'descent'

that is just awesome! i really like the details. my cross actually has some great detail to it i have to take a better pic of it so you can see. i like that tatt. not too much into the whole color thing but that came out great!

and for those who think this thread was a joke... well what can i say i thought you guys were a little more mature when i came to others' personal choices.

Pretty sick man. That guy does great work.

No tats myself. I'd get one if I knew exactly what to get and would be happy with. I have an idea in my head, but I doubt any artist could turn it into what's actually in my head. But it would be awesome to see their interpretation.

I have two black horseshoes connected to each other on my back. At the time I only had two (now I have four) black horses so it symbolized their mother and daughter bond. I got it when I was 18. I really dont have a great photo of it..I'll dig up what I have

and i'm not being rude - someone made the comment that they haven't seen any nice tattoos yet, and i agreed.

it seems to me you're the one doing the whining....

but, just for you, here is a couple of pics of my tats - the maori one i went to LA to get done - flew from ireland to LA to get Roni Zulu (http://www.zulutattoo.com/) to do it - it was free handed there and then - took about 5 hours all in and was amazing.

the one on my back is my angel wings, and the one on my right arm was my first one when i was like 17 - it's okay, its not my best one and i would like some nice work done around it to make it grow / blend in a bit more.
