Is it possible to trade in a my leased 328i for a Mini since they're both the same company?

but they will probably take it in for the trade in value and i would have to cover the difference?

that's to have someone assume my lease.

edit: yeah i just spoke to my CA and they just take the trade-in value. i'd be down the hole a good amount i bet. no incentive for going back through bmw.

Lease assumption is a much better deal than trading it back to the dealership.
