You guys should just do gamestop - they always have midnight launches for popular games. Here's a trick - they tell you to show up early to pay. Don't do this - then you have to wait in line with people that smell like dirty laundry. Instead, show up at 11:59. When you pay, the clock strikes twelve and they will simply hand you your copy. At least, that is what I have done a few times now. : )

I Pre-ordered my CE from Bestbuy back in March and I had it delivered to my doorstep yesterday at 9:30AM.
I was pretty impressed with the delivery time since their estimated time before the release was around May 21st.

D3 is very good. However battle.net was down for hours last night. So silly that you can't play a single player game bc of it.

You would think after WoW and SC2 that they'd know what to expect of their login servers on launch days... Apparently not.

As for the single player thing, if your characters were stored offline (on your PC as opposed to on b.net) then duping would be rampant.

Nice, yeah the story is pretty awesome! I'm working my way through Nightmare at the moment as a level 40 barbarian. I heard to survive Hell, we need to rock 1h+shield and stack vitality... Going to be rough!

I just beat it at 1:30 am yesterday, lvl 31 barb. Check the official Diablo 3 thread here for my battletag and we can knock out Nightmare together

Damn...only lvl 16. Been playing with my bro online - pretty fun and easy to buff up lower characters. Auction house is also very cool, although seems to have a number of bugs.

It really is terrible right now, I think that's why they're waiting til the 22nd to activate the Real Money Auction House (RMAH). Hopefully that comes with a patch to fix the current version, not just Blizzard flipping a switch to turn the RMAH on.
