If the refs call ridiculous fouls again like the last first two games at Boston.. I'm gonna be f'in pissed. Lakers ppl, does anyone know if Staples Center will be open for people to view the game on the big screen TV?? Also, if yes, how much is the admission?

Ridiculous fouls like the ones that sunk sactown in 2002? Too much attention on the refs right now so the nba can't fix it for the gaykers this time.

That lies the downfall I've been talking about. Gasol is NOT a center. They're using him because Bynum is injured. Bynum is a younger version of Shaq basically. A good player that has the talent to be a great player. After he gets better, the Lakers will be a great team.

I guess my point earlier about Gasol is that I respect the effort he gave in game 5, perhaps not as much on his overall performance. Though 19pts, 13reb and 6ast isn't that bad?

Given the nature of our triangle offense, Gasol's ability to run a high post by taking small Js or passing it and running the courts has given Lakers a tremendous boost during season games. However, we're in the finals, and we're playing one team (the best defensive team) for 7 times straight. The great thing about series is that it allows teams to adjust to each others' game after game.

I think we all have been spoiled by Lakers run at the end of the season. Our expectations for the Lakers to be a non stop scoring machine has been broken down by the Celtics hard pounding defense. I think it's a little unfair to compare Pau to Shaq. I bet you would take Pau anyday if last seconds of game 7 was determined by foul shots.

I find myself constantly reminding my friends that we got our butts whooped during reg. season, twice! Remember we blamed it on our 80's shorts? Now we know it's definitely not the faults of the shorts. Anyway, I love how this series has turned out, it has shown that we can still need some help by our kid Bynum.

They are not opening Staples for viewing because of the cost for extra cops since the last game fans decided to brawl with a Boston fan.

Yep. No way will Boston lose this one. I will admit that the Lakers have a really bright future if Bynum doesn't end up being another injury prone big man. If he turns into Shaq lite, I see 3 more championships for L.A. before their window closes.
