A very nice crew shoot! Others probably have mentioned already but kudos to you guys to be able to afford all these M Sports IN Singapore! Must be die-hard Bimmer enthusiasts!

How Much?

Hey Guys,

I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a new F30 (assuming I dont go the F10 route) and am looking at the M Performance parts. I'm in Thailand and trying to work out if I should go with the prices here or perhaps buy them in Singapore and smuggle them back in my suitcase :-)

Here's what the BMW dealer has quoted me:

(Those of you from the US and Europe should look away now or you are likely to die of shock......)

Price of M Aero Package = 198,000THB - this includes painting and fitting (I am planning to order an Estoril Blue car) for front and side aero parts plus rear diffuser. This equates to $8,210SGD (US$6,600). Is this in the same ball park as what your guys would pay? I believe the parts alone would cost 128,000THB which is around $5,300SGD (US$4276).

Kinda expensive, we get it like $3,500 with spray and install in Sg (thru a GB). If u get it on your own then its like $4k or so?

Thanks. If you can tell me the name / website of the dealer you used to get the parts, I might try to get him to order and spray for me. Then I can get them fitted over here...

you guys are truly amazing for tolerating these prices.

here in the states, for $3k, I can get it painted and installed...and I think that's bloody expensive!

Yep, you got that right. It is hard to bear, but very little alternative.....Thailand is apparently the world's biggest one ton pickup market. I can get one of those cheap.

Other things are cheaper here of course...like 2 hours of Thai massage for $12-$15. :-)

I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or worse!

I finally put down my deposit on a car. Went for the ActiveHybrid 5 in the end. I only have to wait SIX WHOLE MONTHS for it to arrive...

Might want to import them yourself meng ... if you have a relative or friend whom are still there on the other side of the pond, you could have the part store to ship them parts there and from there to Indonesia...
