Why would you want to return the lease with the performance exhaust? Pay for install and put back the stock muffler and sell your performance exhaust

Posted a dedicated thread for the question, but thought I'd ask here as well: What is the sound like in the cabin when cruising at 50+? Does it affect the ambient noise much in those situations? I'd like the car to stay quiet until I get on the accellerator...

It is quiet. I always have to open the windows to try to hear the sound lol

When you're not on the gas, you can't hear it at all.

The sound is pretty good and deep. Maybe not as good as for performance

Anyone new owners with the M exhaust?

Got it installed today, have only driven a couple of hours yet. At first I thought it was too muted, since it's barely noticeable at higher speeds or at low rpm's. But it definitely gives the engine note some character, shifting and revving has become more fun since the engine (finally!) can be heard. And the car seems much more responsive at highway speeds at 2000-3000 rpm.

As it is I won't feel ridiculous driving a car that's too loud. If the exhaust had been any louder I might have.

So far I'm happy I with the modification!

love your M exhaust, btw, do you know the width/diameter for the tips? are they 76mm each or 80mm? do you notice any difference ( sound louder? ) after the break-in period? thanks!
