I know that sometimes prices are a bit higher in Canada, but that goes for about $2100 in SoCal.

Never seen a 2500D PO go for $2100 without issues. That's a $2500-$3000 watch on avg.

does the smaller size of the watch, reflect the cost? On these omegas in particular?

Depends on your market. In NA, larger watches are more en vogue right now, so they command a slight premium. In Europe, they still prefer the smaller faces, so not as much. Same situation as 328i resale vs 335i resale. Depends on your market.

Doesn't really seem to on PO's. I've seen 42's sell for more than 45's and visa versa. MSRP was the same.

If that PO is a C or D series and it comes with box and papers that's a good price.

I've seen 42 and 45 going for same prices

IMO the 42mm is perfect.

I remember I bought my first decent watch, the Breitling Blackbird, in 1999 for 2800.00....that was a ton of money at the time...now same style of Breitling watch sells for 4-6k!...inflation sucks

On a side note, you guys need to be super careful when buying a watch off of eBay...I bought a JLC master compressor diving chrono awhile back in "excellent" condition and it was so scratched and abused that I sent it back to JLC factory for repair and they wanted 6000.00 to fix it all...they wanted 2800.00 just to replace the bezel!

I will never buy from a individual off of eBay ever again...Timezone is more reliable IMHO.

I agree, I have large wrists, and a I like the way a 40-42mm looks on me, it's so much classier and non-invasive.

don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good 45 every now and again, but generally most of my watches are around that 40-42 mark.

If you like flashy watches, always go 44 or higher.... A lot of chronos will be 44-45mm as well.

Well, hearing this, i'm leery about buying a Sea Dweller I saw on ebay.

My local jeweler is having trouble finding me an M or Z Sea Dweller in new condition.

I found one on ebay that seemed to be everything I wanted, but now I'm not sure.

I really prefer to do business with my local jeweler, even if i pay more, I know I'm getting exactly what I pay for.

If you can afford the Ferrari that watch is designed to complement, $300k is not going to phase you.

The car is 1.3mil so I don't think anyone would squak at 300k to match the car. There is a lot of other watches in the same price range I would take over that one, but I can't afford 300k for a watch so the point is moot anyway.
