This is NOT normal. Its pretty brutal tbh for a BMW product.
Unfortunately, I'm sorry to say it is normal for the F30.
I have a 2014 335. No wind noise. The car is very quiet.

Yeah the strange thing is my driver's side is great, no noise at all.

Passenger side is utterly useless. In crosswinds its brutal.

It'll be going into the stealership to get looked at.

Official dealer would not be able to resolve the issue with wind noise. Tried something with the mirrors. But the wind noise is still there.

There may be hope?

I don't know what my dealership did, but they definitely improved the wind noise for me. Mine was never as bad as the ones described in here, but they still managed to improve it. I would say it is comparable to how quiet a 5 series is, and I am probably one of the pickiest in detecting abnormal noise.

Mine used to have a swooshing sound near the B-Pillar, but now even at 120km/h (aka 70mph) it's barely audible and I have to literally stick my ear to the pillar and force myself to hear something, which is probably just road noise.

I am going to try and find out what they have done exactly and share with you guys if possible next time I visit them.

Please do try and find out, I for one would really appreciate it. I have the swooshing sound near the B-pillar as well, and my dealer is refusing to acknowledge that it's any different to any other F30. I would love to go back to them with some info saying otherwise.

I don't have a 3, though someone on this forum may have recommended the following - use car detailer blue tape and cover some of the seams in the area affected, with some trial and error you may be able to tell if door-seal/weather stripping is the cause.
On a past car, a metal heat shield under the car just aft of the front bulk-head ( right side ) would sometime get bent downward into the airflow and the sound would emanate from the passenger door area.
