Kathryn from log in out dropped us off at the hotel and said to email her in 10 days about what ship my car is going to be on. Otherwise, outside of a couple of scratched rims, a minor scratch on the passenger door, and the cracked windshield, my car made it though the first 1,946 miles in one piece! I'll be back in SF tomorrow afternoon.

Alas, no free internet here at the Marriott so can't post log in out pics.

You guys are very welcome - thank you for letting me share my experience with you all! Hopefully some of it is helpful to future ED'ers.

Overall, the BMW experience was a blast and they do a great job presenting the car to you and taking care of you. I would totally do it again in the future. My dad is looking at buying an X3 or X5 next year so who knows - may accompany him next time

Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands are all beautiful countries - so much to see and I just got a taste.

The other dream that came true was driving a BMW on the Autobahn. This was the first time I've driven any car over 120mph lol. I think I got my Mazda 3 up to 111 on a drive to Vegas, but it tops out at 118 anyway. Otherwise, if you give yourself a day or so of getting the hang of how the speed limits work and the driving 'protocols' w/ other drivers, it's pretty easy.

Anyway - I'm back in San Francisco. I'll post some final photos before I go take a nap and check the 1000 emails I probably have waiting for me in my work in-box.

And finally some pics at Log In Out where I dropped my car off yesterday.

Don't forget to take the first aid kit and the hazard triangles out when you leave! Otherwise, they did a condition report, took one of the keys and that was about it. I have the other key ..which I will simply stare at for 5 minutes each day until my car reaches here lol

BTW, I used the Navigon Europe app on my Android phone for GPS (it's there for iPhone as well) and it worked well throughout my trip. Well - it had some issues in The Hague, but their roads are confusing as it is. Just make sure you change the route profiled from 'optimum' to 'fast'. Otherwise you'll spend 30 minutes driving around the middle of nowhere through unmarked back roads like I did

You can't do ED with any BMW X cars. They made in US and not qualified for ED. Sorry.

I can't see on any browser list of vehicle eligible for ED. Cold you make screen shot and posted here, please.

Will my dealer have more info?
