The aftermarket rear view camera can be retrofitted without the PDC.
However the OEM retrofit kit with dynamic guide lines and obstacle marking requires the PDC.

We carry both OEM and aftermarket kits with the best cameras available on the market

Ok awesome, thanks for the info. Next question is, how tough of an install is it. I'm in Germany and would like to order it but not sure if I can do the install myself.
