The Zenith Leader just showed up off the South tip of the Baja Penninsula. Port Hueneme lists their arrival as 2-January, but that schedule hasn't been updated since 14 December.
So, it appears to be close to being on schedule. |

Its a lot like a holding pattern for aircraft landings - they all have pre-arranged slots at the canal. Until the slot is up there really isnt anything to do but drop anchor somewhere or steam in circles. Anchorage space at the mouth of the canal costs more than steaming around, I guess.
