How To Order Different Wheels?

I dont see this option with the configurator or with bmwconfig.com, yet Ive seen members on here with different wheels, and even seen an M-Sport 335i with Modern Line wheels.

So whats the deal, are these people just buying an extra set of wheels or can you switch them for a certain cost?

Depends, usually the dealer will do a swap for a small fee or even free of charge if the two wheels are comparable. Just talk to whatever dealer you purchase from, as long as it's an official BMW dealer.

However most people on this forum DO have two sets of wheels, one for normal driving and one for winter, or even another set for track =D

The BMW dealers up here in Canada will store your wheels for you for $150. So you can have your 19 inch wheels with summer tires stored while you are running a set of 18 inch wheels with dedicated higher profile winters during the miserable winter months and vice versa. Given the pain of moving wheels around and tripping over them in the garage or storage locker this is pretty good money spent.
