Really hoping wifey and i can go pick it up friday afternoon or saturday.

I called the 1800 BMW# and it's telling me it's at port awaiting a vessel... I guess mine is going back to Germany! The CA told me it's still stuck at the VPC too, no ETA.

I'm hoping once people go back to work slowly, it'll clear by the end of the week. I'm not sure if it's the same process waiting to get onto the ship as it is getting onto a truck, because my car waited about a week to hitch a ride over the pond...

getting on a truck is pretty quick. they have haulers there waiting for the car to get loaded. it's not like they are waiting on a particular ship to return..

Mine says the same thing when i call the 1800#.

Update this morning, dealer emailed and said it's through VPC and is now released to the trucking company so as long as there are no delays he thinks we are good for delivery on Saturday. Dealer is only 300 miles or so away from VPC so won't be too long of a trip for it.

Hopefully yours has been released and is on the way to you as well.

jacksonville.. just 1 hour south of brunswick's port. so e tend to get stuff fairly quick once it hits the port..

I'm in Miami. My CA emailed me and said car was released from VPC and will arrive in 2-3 days (which puts it hopefully on Saturday)!!!

i picked it up last night.. It hasn't been detailed yet but it will be tomorrow. I had a hard time leaving it with our detail dept all day when all I wanted to do was drive it.

Today I had the lip installed and i think it looks sic...

Looks nice! I love the front. With the lip on there it looks mean as hell.

Update on mine: Dealer said it is on a truck and will be delivered probably tomorrow morn at the latest he's hoping. He is going to try to prep it quickly for me and I can hopefully pick it up tomorrow afternoon/evening.

My dealer already called me if I wanted to pick up the car. Through some miraculous self restraint I will pick up tomorrow morning (I was in the middle of doing $hit). I'll post pics once I get it...

You pick it up yesterday?

I got mine late last night. Almost didn't happen as the truck was late and they dropped it off at the other Hendrick dealership that was across town 30+ minutes away. We finally got everything squared away though. Loven it so far!

I picked mine up after a 4 hour wait. Needless to say I wasn't the only one there, and there were 4-5 people in front dealing with financing. By far was the longest wait I've ever had, but I was able to squeeze into a 24 month lease (special) and got some freebies for waiting so long...
