Please don't take this the wrong way. But I would change girlfriends.
Some advice for your next girlfriend/wife: Strongly encourage her (hereinafter referred to as the "Female") to sign a written contract that clearly stipulates the Female is never to drive your car under any circumstances. Of course, she may be driven by you, in your car, at any time. However, the Female can never be the person driving the car. A contract drawn up along these lines will ensure happy driving for years to come. While other aspects of the relationship will surely be permanently damaged, at least there will be no "female factor" to worry about when it comes to your car. ![]() Last edited by JooFoo; 02-05-2013 at 11:23 AM. |

I actually let my gf drive my car and she lets me drive hers. Actually sometimes i tell her to take my car so that i can take her 1er. She is a good driver and im encouraging her to come to the track with me. Or at least autox.

Yea, depending on how bad the crack is, I would take it to a local body shop that you trust (I always have a guy that does all my work that I trust)... You can buy the clips and plastic parts cheap.. Even if the bumper is cracked enough to require bondo and needs re-painting, it wont cost you nearly as much as buying a whole new one or paying BMW to do the same work for 5x the price... Just my opinion... Hard to say exactly without seeing a pic of the damage...
And OMG that video.... what an f'n IDIOT!! I really dont get people sometimes.... hahaha

Married for a long time, these thing happen and cars can be repaired. Lucky for me the Mrs. Really has decided that she would rather "be up high" and drive the X5 (a car which she did not want but was "forced" into it mpby be from her little 325iT when the 2nd kid showed up).
One of my favorite story like this is when she was pregnant with our first, she rammed the back of my 325i into the front of her father's 325i! Got a two for one! We do not talk about it in front of him. He saw it coming from the back yard and I can still here his "Nooooo!!!" scream if I think about it. Close second is when I let my mother in law borrow the 325i because it had the car seats installed. She claimed to be about to drive a manual.......
