My HUD isn't compatible with my Sunglasses!!! - Page 2 - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Happy to sacrifice HUD visibility during the day for the better vision bestowed by my MJ's in the Australian sun. Slight head tilt if I need to doesn't worry me.

I have polarized glasses and they do interfere with it a little. Good thing it's never sunny where I live...I guess.

Can't see the HUD with my polarized sunglasses. Live in Brussels and moved here from Seattle so I haven't seen sunshine or had a real need for sunglasses in about 5 years.

Polarized sunglasses stop certain beams light coming in from certain directions, usually horizontal light. So do you know what's the benefit of Polarized Sunglasses?

They greatly reduce certain types of glare, especially from puddles in th eroad etc (which is vertically polarized light, if I'm not mistaken)
