Hoarders must be running out of money. There is plenty on ammoforsale, around $0.80/round less then it was but way more then it should be. Prices have started to correct themselves.

.308 is down to about $1.00/round

.556 is 60 cents a round at BulkAmmo. Not horrible. The 9mm is still outrageous though.

My local place is selling .556 for $11.50/20 rounds. And Cabellas had 2.23 earlier in the week for $.43/round (delivered) but they sold out pretty fast.

I'm still not buying until (I've got some to play with still) prices come down a bit more or cabelas and Wally world restock.

If I'm not on a list somewhere then 'they' just aren't paying attention
