I have a newbie question, currently driving my mothers old x5 (2006), and looking to upgrade soon maybe to a 2011 328 or 335, but i was wondering if it would be smarter to wait for the 2012? Please msg me

It loos so much like most other cars on the road now. I like it but....here is the render with a pic of the new 2011 Lancer Evo for comparison. The body lines and bumper design is very similar to Mitsubishis....

Actually, now that I look at it more, that may not be an Evo, but a Lancer none the less....

I wonder how different the production version will end up being compared to the current vehicle. I don't expect BMW to reinvent the wheel, but it'd be nice to see some distinct changes over a 'refresh'. Although they're saying it'll be a whole new vehicle, my realistic side can't see them veering too far away from the current look.

Very informative, thanks for the analysis. But, the front end of the F30 does definitely reminds me of the Mitsubishi Lancer. Anyways, I couldn't wait until 2013 to get my first BMW, so I had to settle on buying an e90!

Be smart and wait. I got a 2011 M and we are waiting for the next three series to pick it up as a dd. I also want to see how the new X5 will look like to replace the 06 Mercedes we have. It smart to wait.

It's an EVO, see vent behind the front wheel? and the brembo brakes, only EVO has those.
