2012 BMW F30 3-series hits the ring! - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Watching BMWs strip tease of its upcoming vehicles is always fun, especially when it's the next 3-series (F30), and even more especially when the testing advances stages. In this case, the 2012 3-series has moved on to track testing on the Nurburgring! Which signals that we should hopefully see some of that body cladding start to come off.

We can also start to peek at the front bumper underneath the heavy camoflage bodysuit in one of the photos below.

Expect the F30 3-series sedan to be launched sometime in 2012 (at the 2012 Geneva autoshow in March).

By now it seems to have all the parts that make a car go. I like the headlights and the stoplights - look very businesslike.

I hope this paint job is available in matte finish too... I want Frozen Evaluation Phase Metallic Paint.

This looks REALLY big to me--I haven't been paying attention to the F30 very much, do we have any idea if it is supposed to get larger than the E90?

I can never tell much from these camo clad cars anyway....it just looks really big....

This is not the F30 its a special edition matte zebra spin paint M3.

Seriously though, I'm glad that BMW is smart and finished the powertrain/suspension before body panels and such. It's whats on the inside that counts

wish they're was an overview of the engine.
u can see the intake. wonder if they're are turbos in there or a turbo.
