Does Anyone know how to compress AVI files from DIGITAL CAMERAS into something smaller? because i got the high resolution videos/pictures of the M3, but i cant seem to upload it to YOU TUBE because it says the file is too big..help me out a bit guys :-) THANKS!!

With any pictures or video reducing file size reduces quality.

The pictures (jpeg) are easy. I use jpeg resizer or photoshop:

It's a bit harder with .avi files. You can either reduce the image size, reduce the frame rate or convert to .mpeg.

I would use 'win-avi converter' to convert to mpeg, but there is also a free prog called virtual dub which I think will do the job.

You can do this with Windows Movie Maker too.
