This looks soooo much better in motion. I can forgive the awkward rear. FUCK that profile is gorgeous, and that side graphic is perfect.

I would love for BMW to make something like this...

thing is so ugly..

as for 5speed in the SLR.. i think that's cuz MB 7speed gearbox can't handle the power/torq hence they use the more robus 5speed.

Lambo doors are fail but I like the overall design of the car

Perhaps a low profile windshield could make it a little better? I am sure if it was a BMW many people would be drooling over it

i had same transmission with my e55,its not bad,but for a half million dollar car,mercedes benz should built a specific transmission for slr,or strenthened the internals on the 7-speed.

That's not the same 5spd as your E55's.

Much faster shifts, better tech, etc.

all 5.4 liter supercharged engines(and v12 twin turbo) come with the same 5-speed autobox.faster shifts do not make a new transmission,just updated software.

I kind of like it.The point for this car is that it doesn't have a windshield which is what makes it so different and cool.
