High Demand for 09 335's? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I went to peek around the dealership this morning. Amongst the 30 or so e90 335's.....4 09 sedans. I like the new look a lot. 2 silver. 1 space gray. 1 sapphire black. One of the silver cars had the new oyster leather. On the BMW site the color appears more off-white. In person it has more of a butter cream look. A light beige color. IMO it does not go very well with TiAg.

Next to all these e90's were 5 09 e92 335's.

I was under the impression that the 09 e90's were in high demand as in all were ordered.

All 4 sedans were $49,100. Sport/Prem/Step/Heated seats/CA. Nice simple configuration for me. The silver/black e92 was $50,100. Have I missed something? I remember a bigger price gap.

Drove a 09 335i coupe yesterday in space gray, sticker was 55K

Hey Gonzo are you still on the hunt for a new car? I thought you were pretty much set on a phantom black S5.

Maybe the rumor of the new S4 engine finding its way into the 2010 S5 changed his mind. I wanted to get the S5 however I think I want a car that's under 35k this time around. Hence my interest in the new Camaro.

Funny I also visited the dealer this weekend and I used the service light as an excuse to visit the dealer eventho I know what the service is and I already done the service myself.

Anyway, I saw a 09 e90 and the new taillight is not bad at all in person. However, the car that caught my eyes were the M3 e90. OMG, they had several of them in the show room (blue and silverstone). The silverstone was gorgeous with a red interior and a brakedust (don't know the technical name) colored rim. But as someone said, I aint buying anything right now especially a V8.

^ Classic in Plano has a Melbourne red M3 coupe with the standard rims painted black with the red "time attack" or whatever ring...looks halfway decent.
