It seems that the 328d will be a re-badge of the 320d. That spurs fears of inappropriate pricing, if the 328d will be more expensive than the 328i. We'll see how that goes, but indeed a 330d based wagon would be an interesting proposition.

some weird options. if you get the m-sport, why cant i just add Comfort access without the premium pack? Premium pack is $2200 more and all you get is lumbar and sat radio and comfort access.. seriously?

This is the car I was planning on getting when I graduate. I need room for my dog, kayak and mountain bike. Unfortunately I see no manual option and AWD only. If that's the case I will save some money and get a proper AWD wagon (Audi A6 3.0T or A4 Allroad) second hand.

Such a great looking car, so bummed that there is no longer enough demand in the states for a 328i wagon with a stick. I live in a very snowy region, and I just have no use for an xi.

Honestly, I'm glad BMW even considered bringing the F31 to the US, especially since they've got the 3 GT and the X1/3/5. A diesel version of this in the US would make for a very nice, practical car.

+1 - noticed that too. Not much different than the sedan. There, it's $3100 with a moonroof. Since the panoramic moonroof seems to be standard on the wagon, the price drops to $2200, but seriously - doesn't seem like a good value at all, even by BMW "value" standards.

Seems like a bug with the configurator...you also get leather (are forced to when you check the box).

Computed the price of similarly optioned, it comes around ~$3000 more to get the wagon than the same 328i (not xi, I don't care about xi so it has no value to me that I have to get it because the RWD doesn't exist). Not an outstanding value, but well. The sticker is a bit high, in the 50k with a realistic set of options.
