39mo / $zero out of pocket/ 20k mi per year / $650 tax incl purchased in December 12 (keep in mind also the the earlier into the model year, the higher the residual and therefore generally lower payment PLUS, in some states, registration is a percentage of sale price thus, in MY case, almost $800... 13yrs in car sales incl 7 w/MB and 3 w/Ferrari)

That's a fantastic deal. it's $30.00 more/month than I pay for a 2011 328i with same terms that listed for $37K. There must be some special incentive to get this rate.

OP said this is a lease takeover.
I'm assuming the original person that leased it put down a sizable cap reduction payment/deposit. Either that or the sticker price is incorrect. My 335xi came out to be the same sticker price but with my payments are nearly $100 more expensive even though I payed off the tax.

There are other factors of a lease takeover that we don't know about. There could've been high miles for 2 months, and yes, a big cap cost reduction, and a lowered cap cost since the car is considered "used", etc. Either way however, 400s for a loaded 328 isn't bad.

Well, I also think it's something fishy here. Like I said the lease was two month old with ONLY 1,800 miles on board.
The previous lesee said he didn't put anything down, but I doubt it. The premium is waaaaaay to low. Car is Dec 2012. I suspect he put down a sizable amount but, for some reason, he didn't want to tell me.

Anyway, I got lucky. I was the first to call and the same day he got another 5 calls.

Better question is WHEN was lease inception. If it was a new 2012, it was probably late 2011 or early 2012, THATS where the number comes from. Everyone's missing that, the question is, what was the residual/money factor/dealer cash/loyalty cash etc
