Thanks bro! I have reverted by the VO from my previous XML backup. And code back the hu-cic. WIll send in the car to reprogram again before removing the audio system. Will get back to you with update

Got my car coded today by a very kind member:

Changed the VO from 6NH to 6NK
I now have use of the white cable with cover art, luetooth A2DP which is what I wanted. Interestingly it now also shows:
- Office although all I get is my address book, not sure if it can do anything else
- HUD controls --> doesn't actually do anything of course
- Adaptive Cruise controls --> doesn't do anything

Coding to close windows with Key Fob Lock

GPS Synced Time

Thanks a million to Brian55 and Aritaurus for their help. BMW should have included use of the cable/cover art/A2DP as standard but I have it now and that's all that matters.

For office MAP (Message Access Profile) to work, you need to enable "Show Notifications" on your iPhone under the BMWXXXXX bluetooth profile under bluetooth paired devices. It will only display messages that you receive while in the car - not older or archived messages. You also have to be on iO6 or above and it will only sync SMS messages; not emails.

i know there's a lot of people trying to get asian languages to work on their F30s but i dont think anyones mentioned this

maybe we enable this and somehow load the chinese caracters into the system?

No, I don't. The comment translated is that it "controls whether new languages ​​can be added later", although I am not sure exactly what that means.

saw this option before, but never tried it since it's most likely an option to update language (am thinking like how we update the bluetooth software), so somehow somewhere need to inject the new language, but unless we have more info on how to get this language file/pack, its looking to useless for now!

I have coded my F10 M5 and got so many cool things working so thanks to everyone for their hard work. I do have a couple questions though

1. I saw mentioned (I think) that someone had found away to have the white iPhone 5 cable plugged in while having it not auto turn of A2DP on bluetooth. How was this done? What setting?
2. On bluetooth from iTunes or Spotify I don't get cover art. I have seen this work on other rental cars when I travel. Is there a setting for this?
3. Not really coding related but maybe someone knows. In the split view on the iDrive one option is internet widgets. Each time I choose it it tell me I must have bluetooth data access turned on. I have an iPhone 5 but don't see this in the bluetooth options for it (or office but think this is normal for an iPhone). Am I missing aBT profile on the device to make this work? I also tried plugging the phone into usb with lightening cable and get same result.

1) ??? Not sure. I am not an Apple guy.
2) I have never seen Album Art while BT Streaming. Only on USB MP3's. Are these rental cars you mention where it works BMW's?
3) I don't recall seeing an Internet Widgets option. This may be new in HU_NBT. In any event, for this to work, you need Option 614 Internet, which in the U.S. is not available as we have Telematics (BMW Assist).

I did this for another persons F30 but it works though, i have no idea why mine wont work.
he has 328i classic line with navi and no xenons
mine is 328i classic line without navi with xenon..not sure if this makes a difference or not though
this is drving me insane! lol

Be careful when changing the KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB, there is a KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB right above it that looks almost the same.

Double check that you are changing the correct variables.

I've coded this on over 20 F30's (Base, Sports, and Luxury), Navi and non-Navi, CA and non-CA and have never had an issue coding the mirrors with any of them.

Make sure your clock is within a minute or two of the correct time or else the car will not sync the clock to the GPS signal.

I've coded this on 3 cars so far and we could only see it "jump" to the correct time when the clock is 1 or 2 minutes off at most.
