is it ther series 6 version on the insurance websites? Seems cheap to insure based on provisional quotes..

Hi guys. My order was confirmed on 4th January, with build for this week (6), the dealer expect to receive the car on 4th March so handover pencilled in for Saturday 9th March. This is for a 320i xDrive M Sport with sport auto box.

My first post.

I ordered a F31 330d this week and I am excited! The estimated delivery date on the vehicle contracts says end of March. A couple of questions I was hoping someone could help: I went for the SE spec and Business Media package and am now having second thoughts.

1) I went for the SE spec because I intend to park the car on street in a relatively high crime area. This I hope would mean it attracts less attention although it clearly looks less good. Apart from the looks and sports seats, is this something I will regret?

2) I chose Business Advanced Media as oppose to Professional Advanced Media as the saving was approx £1000. It seems it's the smaller screen and lack of traffic information are the main differences, as it should also work with the HUD. Are my assumptions correct here? The dealer has been vague on this.

1/ I do not think SE or M Sport will detract from theft, if they want it , it will go. I would opt for the M Sport BUT if funds will not go to it then SE is fine.

2/ The new Professional Navigation system has some glitches, but by the time yours arrives this should be sorted, again it depends on "Funding", I have had the Business system in a new 5 series lent by BMW UK for the last month and found it OK, yes the screen is smaller but if you can live with that then OK.
You still get Traffic info if "Dynamic" is ticked.

Agree with JohnBmw6. If someone wants the car they'll nick it!

There was only two reasons I went with pro media the screen size and the mobile apps integration.

I did look at the HUD but considering I wasn't getting the speed limit display, lane warning etc, thought HUD would only show limited info

So what spec did you order?

That is way too long for me, I'd crack up... My car should be end of March and I think that's too far away...

Would you have a part number or code for the tailpipe covers? Are they an M performance part? Can you give me a guide price as I was told they are unavailable at moment.

PS Could someone steer me on how to upload photos. have searched the forum and im having difficulties uploading 20" performance wheels on a EBII M sport that I saw. Thanks

My order was confirmed today with estimate delivery end of April. EBII 330dxdrive. Like yourself have gone over on the options most except TV and surround view. Going with M performance interior and M performance diffuser so would like the tail pipes to match. Sticking with the 18" wheels.
