The MP4-26 shown is incorrect.
That year McLaren has a distinctive sidepod intake that looked like an L shape.

As for the MP4-28, so far I can only tell the mirror support looked different, and the sidepod intake is more triangular than horizontally rectangular in 2012.
Other than that, looked very similar in naked eye.

I felt like playing photohunt.

I can't link the pics, but Ferrari looks like a F1 car again! I like the black trim at the bottom of the livery too...

Purple haze... Softer nose hump and revised sidepods but otherwise very close to last year's car. Note Infiniti taking over the sidepods and part of the rear wing.
