Well,
I couldn't wait 2-3 months for delivery (I already went through that long waiting period on my X3...awful)
So I was lucky enough to find "the" 328i I was looking for in a dealership!!!
2013 328iX- Luxury Line, Sparkling Bronze, Veneto Beige Dakota Leather with Premium Package and Heated Steering Wheel.
Not a bad deal either. 6% off plus an additional $1,500. with 3.9% APR (Financed)
Very excited about the delivery on Monday.

I love my Beige interior on mineral grey. Always preferred lighter colors to black. Go beige!

Are you ok with maintaining it as far as light color is concerned? Do we need to arrange some sort of cover to make sure it stays clean and shiny? Specially the driver's seat with more frequent usage and different texture and clothing one wears? Have you had any problem with blue jeans and stains or marks on the seat?

I just use leather care products to make sure it doesn't wear too bad. Yes, it'll show signs eventually, but I'd rather have a solid 6-7 years of beautiful beige interior in the meantime. Even when it does age it'll just give the car more distinction.

As for jeans, the only jeans I wear don't stain, so not worried about that. Even if you do get some stains, some cleaning products get it right out.

Then again, my last car only had 40k miles in 10 years, so I'm not overly concerned about wear =P

Which dealership? And how did you get an additional $1500.00 on top if 6% off msrp? Is that the bmw loyalty discount?

No...there was a $2,000 Credit Promo during the month of January offered by all dealerships. How it worked was that BMW Canada would offer $1,500 and the dealership would cover the remaining $500. Now since I got the maximum possible discount from the dealership, they couldn't grant the $500. But certainly the $1,500.
This Promotion which was called the XDrive January Event (or something like that) ended 31st of Jan.
The other part of this promotion was the 3.9% APR which is now back to %4.9%. So I was lucky enough to secure this rate as well.

It is very distinctive indeed...I've been trying to find this color as part of inventory and looked in almost all dealerships...I was able to only find ONE (with the right options I was looking for...)

I will certainly share some photos...as soon as I can tolerate the cold weather...it has been dreadful the past couple of weeks here...
Don't know about you guys, but my garage has been the happiest of garages lately...a gorgeous Mineral Silver 2011 X3 parked beside a ravishing S.Bronze 2013 328iX. Such a rhyme, I can't even decide which one looks more beautiful.

I know what you are going through...I went through that for my X3 a year and a half ago...

very very slow...but I can tell you...it is worth the wait my friend!!!

I forget to mention that I searched almost every dealership in Ontario to find the vehicle that I was looking for in their inventory (S.Bronze with Dakota Beige+ Luxury & Premium Pack with Heated Steering). I had almost given up and ready to order...suddenly found one which reaaallyyy saved the day.
