Have you seen ebay lately? Prices are completely ridiculous.

Here's a great example. This idiot is selling plain old 10rd mags for $93 each.

Yeah, i don't think many people are getting what they're asking. I could be wrong though. I saw a guy on gun broker selling a 3 pack of 25rd .22cal mags for the S&W at $185 when i purchased 20 of them at $21 each, from the manufacture!

Maybe there are some people who aren't really in the know and in a panic buy mags at those silly prices.

I checked my CC online today and RRA charged my credit card. I'm guessing my LPK and buttstock must be on their way.
Congrats man! Hope you can get out and shoot her soon!

i keep forgetting to make a post about this but another thread remindied me so i figured i'd post it in here to.

Many of you guys may want to look into your home owner's insurance to see if you're allowed to add weapons to your policy. Many home owner's insurance policies will only cover up to $2500 worth of weapons. I'm going to have to get additional insurance to cover the balance and it will likely have to be a negotiated limit on each weapon which won't be cheap. I hope that since they will be stored in a gigantic safe they will give me a deal. haha!

Just something to think about as the value of our weapons keep climbing.

My insurance covers loss and I upped my policy to cover 5K of theft as well. Above that it gets really expensive for theft ins.

MPower, mind selling me any of those SW 15-22 mags? I am stuck with one and 4 on back order!

I forgot about that. I am a member. But what's really happening is the resale value of my collection has jumped by about 40%. If a ban goes through the value could easily double or more. And at that point, what value do you put on the collection since much of it is irreplaceable?

If someone lifted all my gear right now and i could even find exact replacement gear it would cost me about $16k to $18k. I don't think i currently have that much coverage. Something i need to look into....

Invest in a good safe. This video is a little dry, but I didn't realize how much of a difference some safes make.

There are differences in safes.... however, i'm not buying a safe to keep out the Italian Job crew. My safe is to keep the weapons out of the hands of my guests and their children and the random criminal who happen to break into my house when my dog isn't there and i'm out of town. I actually scattered my gear around the house when i went out of town last weekend. I figure if someone did break in they wouldn't just hit the jackpot in one room. The safe should be here very soon!

I suspect that my 110 pound bulldog is a pretty good deterrent for the random criminal. We purposely have full glass back and front doors so they can see him when they come to the door. I figure there's just easier houses to hit than one with a snarling beast inside it.

However, the 110 pound monster passed a way several months ago and our puppy is only 5.5 months old and currently weighs in at only 60 pounds. So he's got some growing to do before he looks the part. Right now he's just full of cute.

I thought you said $21... I would take 1 black and 1 FDE. ? each plus 3% paypal fee + shipping? My zip is 52302 so let me know what you'd like total.

JimD303 over on glocktalk.com works there and is very active. Just ask him and he can give you times when stuff is expected in and what exactly is in stock. Very helpful guy. If nothing else you can get an expected wait time (on the glock mags at least).

There is a buyer intel thread that is constantly updated with glock mag availability. I have gotten as many as I need from following that for a short time.

The funny thing about this mag shortage is that I really didn't care about them until they made it known that I might not be able to get them

lol - better than my monsters. Don't get too scared. One is a whopping 9lbs and the other is 2.5lbs right now (9 weeks old).

I am between a Patriot and a Sturdy Safe myself. Both have wonderful reviews, are made in the USA, have free shipping, lifetime warranty and great fire protection. The main difference that I can see is the Patriot looks nicer and is cheaper (with some niceties) while the sturdy has 7GA walls and is all business.

I think you're messing with me about the $2.... but yes, $21 was for the mag then i had to pay shipping to get my hands on them. That puts them at about $23 each; which i will sell them to you for.

$46 Mags
$12 Freight Should be there by Thursday next week if shipped on Monday.
$02 Paypal.

$60 Even work?

Yeah, 7ga walls is no joke. That's a heavy mofo. I was choosing mine based on size more than anything else. I like that it has a power outlet in it as well. But empty it weighs in just under 1000 pounds, and it will be bolted to the floor. Only 30 min fire protection, but i think statistically most fires start in the garage and the room it's in is furthest from the garage. And i'm about 2.1 miles from the nearest fire station. haha

Walked into a gun store on my way to my cabin and they had an M&P 15-22 on the shelf, for $499!

So, I bought it. I'll probably pick it up in a couple of weeks, the shop is about 100 miles from home.
