hah, awesome! Looks about the same as mine except for the auto, backup cams, park distance and black kidney grilles (I'm gonna do those on my own the day I get it) Mine finally started production yesterday, SO freaking exciting!! And now we wait........

Congrats - just took delivery of my 335xi 2 days ago! I can't wait to let her loose. I'm being a good renter and following the 1200 mile break-in. 1080 miles to go.

With the cost of the carbon fiber trim included in purchase price on your sheet, do you receive a credit for the aluminum hex trim that came with the sport package? It's my understanding that the carbon trim is a VPC or dealer install. So, do they give you the aluminum hex trim (since you could sell it)? $1275 for the carbon/alcantara trim and shifter seems to be the price for the set.

Also, if you're leasing, was the price of the accessories included in the lease?

its kinda of stupid actually, the carbon and grilles when ordered are not done as dealer install and are done at port or something, you don't get credit for the hex, the parts are included in the lease but not residualized.

Sounds like someone at the VPC is walking off with your hex trim and the sport shifter.

I'd be tempted to hold off on the carbon trim install until it's at the dealership, then you'd have a little leverage to take the "old" trim. That M-sport hex trim would be easily sellable. Same for the Sport shifter.

Mine just finished production yesterday (so the site says) but my CA told me it's been done for a while and it's just waiting for a boat. Wonder if ours will be on the same boat?
