M Performance Brake option
What I'd like to know is, if I specify 18" wheels on my 330d M Sport (going for comfort and on costs for replacement tyres) and I opt for the M Brake option, when winter comes can I fit winter tyre/wheels onto them without the brakes fouling? I'm assuming that the winter tyres would be fitted to 17" rims as the aspect ratio of the tyres are taller, so as to keep the correct speedo indication.

I have 18"s as my winter set with M Sport Brake option, when I had them fitted it didnt look like 17's would have got over the brakes.

I think 18" wheels are the smallest that will fit; I'd just use the 18s for winters, I have 18s on Bridgestone Blizzaks and they performed brilliantly in the recent snow!

When ordering my new car this was the option I was undecided upon. I loved the visual look, but the cost and driving type (pootling to a and from work) meant I ended up leaving them out. Hope I don't live to regret it.
