USB stick is the best option to back things up!

Hello,

I was successfully connecting E-Sys 3.18.4 with old psdzdata (46.3) to my F20 today, so it could read out my current I-Step F020-12-11-505.

Additionally I checked my trunk and found a Harman Combobox

My car has the Navigation Professional and only 6NH (simple bluetooth option).

Here are some questions:

1. I need the latest E-Sys 3.22.5 and latest psdzdate 48.3, correct?

2. If there ist currently now way to get it for free, can I someone send me the 48.3 files and contact info for the E-sys patch and token as well?

3. Wich coding options do I now have for my specific car (F20 125d), especially regarding the bluetooth upgrade from 6NH to something better?

4. Is there a list what coding options are available and tested for the F20?

5. Where can I find a manual for coding these options as a first simple step for me? DVD in Motion, digital speed info, set logo from AG to MPM?

1. Yes you need 48.3, and you might as well upgrade to E-Sys 3.22.5

Shawn has a contact for the token you would need to use 48.3, you can ask him, but I don't believe you can get this for free, however.

3. To get beyond 6NH, follow the quoted instructions above once u get your coding environment working

For F13, scroll up and download the E-Sys-3.18.4.torrent, and the PSdZData-48.3.torrent.

When you connect to your car, you will use F10 as your Target.

Question:
I don't have bluetooth Audio but I noticed something today.

During a phonecall with my Tom Tom iphone app running, spoken directions and sounds come through the car speakers over BT - it actually reduces the volume of the phonecall slightly with the spoken directions or alerts.

Only during calls though but the system is handling both phone audio and Tom Tom audio at the same time.

Makes me wonder if I can code BT audio?

if you want the mirror to fold faster rather than pressing 1.5 seconds, you can code to reduce the "wait time" to zero (or any amount of time you like), so once you lock, the mirror will fold.

it depends on your equipment spec, but from observation, the easiest method seems to be to change your VO from 6NH to 6NK, again it really depends on what already exist in your ride.

I would like to try coding my F30 but would be very helpful to have an updated cheat sheet with all the latest options-variables

I tried coding a 328i to change the auto start stop to OFF by default but it only seemed to take affect in Economy mode. Is there way i can change for all modes.
Also is there any code peope have found to have the car default to SPORT mode

Hi, can anyone give me some insight here?
i tried coding my car just now and everything is fine until i click "code FDL"
the pop up comes up and it goes through the process but in the i keep on getting this error:

FEM_BODY [40]
cdDeploy ProcessedWithError
cafd_00000794-004_122_083 Not Executable

Whats the cause for this?
i tried coding amber delete and key fob close windows/sunroof and this got this message
any help would be great thanks!

hold the lock button on key fob will close the windows / glass roof (if opening) and fold the mirror as well, does this code affect to windows and glass roof closing too?

just wonder if any coding could bring the "backup profile" function back?
there're no profile backup function in iDrive, it only allowed to create profile, but not backup
