M Performance Parts installed at Port - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

hey guys, were any of you in Canada able to get M Perf. Parts with your order and have them installed at port prior to getting to the dealer?

My dealer is saying that they would buy the parts through their parts dept. and charge me labor on my new order but I read on the M Perf. builiten that you could get them added at time of order and installed a the port?

Unfortunately when I asked my dealer about the M Performance Exhaust, they said it will have to be installed at the dealership.

ya, i think your right but i dont understand why USA orders can do this but not Canada. I dont want to dealer installing and charging labor. Plus i have more faith in the Port install vs dealer.

yea i just ordered my car.. and they wont let me put any M pref acc in the package of the offer.. why!!!!

BMWUSA owns and operates their own VDCs. They have their own techs and parts supplies from BMWAG. That is why they can repairs and install parts at the port, and very well I may add.

Autoport in Halifax is a separate company that charges BMWCA to offload and transfer cars. I would not want someone working on my new bimmer who is not properly qualified.
