Questions:

1. Notice any lost of power in the lower RPMS?
2. Notice any increase of power in any range?
3. How does it sound in the car? Do you mind posting a video of the noise level inside the car?

Awesome video and the intake looks good. Is there a way to completely cover the intake?

I'd love to see a before and after dyno to see if there's any gain. The turbo sound alone almost has me sold.

Thanks! Any HP gains are always minimal when it comes to intakes but I do notice a bit quicker throttle response. And of course my MPG is taking quite a hit as well

2. I also don't notice any increase in power and that was expected. Never bought into companies' HP gain claims.
3. It sounds fantastic in the cabin. The "blow-off" sound is extremely audible any time you let off the gas after acceleration. Puts a lasting smile on your face. Engine sounds deeper as well. I will try to get a cabin video posted soon.

Thank you. I don't think you can cover the intake and you wouldn't want to anyway. It will sound muffled.

Got it off Ebay for $305. Seller's name is custom.performance.parts. I wanted to get it from Mod Bargains since I spoke with a rep but they only had the polished and that was a no-no.

You can't expect any noticeable gain just from an intake. The gains are noticed when it's combined with a downpipe and exhaust. Trust me, it sounds amazing from the outside and in the cabin. It's worth every penny.

Thank you. I don't think you can cover the intake and you wouldn't want to anyway. It will sound muffled.

I wonder how this will be utilized with the PPK since the PPK comes with the intake silencer.

MB sells it for $315 but it was just the finish I did not like. The wrinkle black and blue filter suits the car perfectly.

can anyone shed on any potential problems an after market intake could cause? Also how easy is it to switch back to stock if I had to go into the dealership (my car is leased under warranty)

Any word on when there is going to be the Automatic version of this?

It sounds like you have a blow off valve now.

I would like to get one for my automatic since I have a HFC DP, tune, and exhaust. I wonder if it would add any significant gain?

anyone know if this mod will make any diff sound wise to my exhaust, if I have the M perf exhaust? if this is purely just more BOV sound--then I'm not getting it.
