Does this sound right?? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Im on 11000km,

Visual Inspection - 4000km
Rear Brake Pads - 6000km (!) So quick
Engine Oil - 17000km (!) So long, seriously?
Front Brake Pads - 39000km seems about right?

also how much am i expected to pay? (last car i owned was a mini, would it be similar?)

i think you drive quite aggressively and the traction control light flashes on you sometimes. this is completely normal for rwd bmws

highly debatable topic, i myself dumped the oil at 1000km (read: 1000 not 10000). planning on changing at 5000kms as well. Im a super aggressive driver i only get 5.5km/l fuel consumption. before anyone assume something is wrong with my car i do get 13km/l on eco pro so the car is in perfect working order

Isnt the 3-year-free-service a worldwide thing that BMW offers? Meaning that everything the CBS wants serviced, during these 3 first years, will be at their expence. I had an engine oil change at 1500 km, right after break-in. I payed, but they did not reset the comp. which is a good thing. Will have another done at around ~15,000 kms and then the CBS will want it at 30,000 km which will be free of charge.

hmm, I don't think i bought in that promotion period

anyone know? I bought in late November 2012, a demo model
