Z4 GT3...Before - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Had the great opportunity to tour the BMW Regensberg factory (1er, 3er, Z4). While there, our group was afforded the chance to see 'some racecars' beign manufactured. Thinking it was DTM (after all, it is Germany!) we were all stoked. A little disappointed once we got inside, but I still thought it was great.

Below are the frames that will be used for the upcoming ALMS Z4!!!

When did you go there? I hope they are farther along then that since they are supposed to debut at the Sebring winter test on February 5th.

I like how they welded the camber plate guides right into the cage superstructure. That'll keep them from moving.

I would much rather see the Z4 GTE than the DTM car being made. The DTM car isn't even on an M3 chassis.

Silver E90 - I went there on the 21st. I don't think these are ALL the GT3s, just a few of them. The shop was S M A L L and they only have a 9-man crew
