I think this thing is ugly... Infiniti and Nissan have gone down hill fast... The only real Nissan left is the gtr... the q50 is very feminine looking
For BMW, I love most cars except the new 3 series. I abhor the interor. The exterior is a great evolution. I hope and pray they don't mess up the F8x. And the better do something with that cowboy like 4 series interior. But the caramel color looks cool under that silver/grey (I know it's individual). I can really see that BMW is trying to move models up market and charge a premium to get the look and performance we truly desire The IS is neat... it has different exterior styling... while being weird I like the interior... but I am sure the interior will be nice in some ways and have cheap camry-like buttons and plastic. I would take the Lexus any day over the Inf/Nis The new accord is a nice evolution especially because it has a better feel to it... I am sure if they bring out the nsx it will be like a s2000 |

I like I infiniti's but I've been getting bored of them, they take an Audi, BMW, Benz and Lexus and then copy it all and get this... Take it or leave it, I don't feel it stands out. The F30 IMO does.

It has a touch screen and for me thats a deal breaker every time. I deal with it in the Lexus IS and it's annoying, and I tried it in the "groundbreaking" CUE system...also annoying.

The 335 may have less ponies, but it'll still beat the Nissan due to its torque, or at least I like to think that's the case LOL. The IS F-Sport looks way better then this Quack-50.

5 years down the road a BMW will still be what it is - a nice used BMW - the Lexus and the Infiniti will be yesterday's news and I am sure the depreciation curves for them will be much higher. This is the first BMW for me after lots of Japanese cars and I'm not going back! |

TY for the comparison. Are these really comparable cars? Just wondering...I wouldn't have thought so....
The Infiniti is a nice car, but I don't want one.

Interior, Infiniti (after seeing pics & video of the aluminum option) Rear, BMW 335 kills it. Side profile, Infiniti, but it is really a toss up. Although I want my 335i xDrive, unless the MY2014 is released in time for a summer delivery I may just try the Q50 Hybrid AWD. |

Very nice change of pace for Infiniti. Classic curves without trying to do too much. This update is a better change from the previous gen than the F30 was from the E90. Very sleek.

My feeling is the opposite. I think they overdid the front end while trying to make it aggressive. The whole headlights squeezing the grille thing is too obvious an attempt to create tension. As with the new IS, I wish they exercised a bit more restraint. I do like the side profile, the back end, and the interior though. Since the current M, Infiniti has really improved on the interior design and quality. While I am not a fan of their design language, it's hard to argue with the quality feel. The touch screen seems to be especially well done, it looks like an iPad, in a good way. |

Not a fan of either car's looks. I understand that this is a BMW forum but I don't understand how some people think the f30 is leaps and bounds better than the q50. I actually think the q50 is more "premium" looking than the f30.
