No plans as of yet. A lot of people just split after their coding is done.

I think someone local is coming to the meet. If they stick around, maybe they can recommend something. The LA Zoo area is not local for me either, I picked it because there is a lot of free parking and it's fairly centralized. I'm coming from Ventura County myself.

Also, I don't really know how many people are going to show up, so I don't know how long we will be coding.

It was great to meet of all you. We coded 6 cars today; lot's of fun and the weather was great!

I only had time to snap a few (mediocre) pictures. I wanted to get a picture of all of the cars nicely lined up, but that didn't happen. Maybe next time!

shout out to Frogman who organized this! We had an awesome time meeting new friends and exchanging ideas. Swampcat's front end idea has given me a new project. I just need to figure out what I need.

Coding 6 cars took about 4 hours. We didn't finish until 2pm and I just headed home.

Maybe we'll start earlier next time and we'll see if we can get another coder involved so that I'm not so swamped.

We'll have to re-code everything back.

I'll have to take mine in for the 15K service soon and I'm sure I'll have to re-coding everything on mine again too. I'm on a really old version. It's amazing how many software releases they have in such a short amount of time for these cars.

Yea, when I took mine in and dropped it off I said 'oh great, so they are prob going to undo all the coding I just did' and the tech was like 'it shouldnt, but you never know..' Whats funny is in the 2+ years with my A3, and it being in for service several times, the coding on it never got erased..... so mad... I cant wait to have the coding back!

Damn, nice pics. I missed the session again. Car was in the shop for a week and a half. I still gotta bring it back when the seat pans get in, but that shouldn't be more than a day of labor.

They even called me earlier this week to let me know there is a new software update for my car... i said no thanks

But i have a feeling when they perform the first service, it will erase all our coding effort... so there is a chance i will see you again Frogman (3rd time )

I'm getting close to my first service too. You should probably just get the updates, I've heard there are issues with the FEM that are addressed by the updates.

We'll just code everything back after you get your car serviced.

I don't remember if the black M-Sport was ED or not.
