Ditch the badge ASAP. In my neighborhood having M badge on non M car will definitely get you keyed. If you don't have the balls to go full on M, don't try to badge your way outa it.

The M logo is already all over the car as an M-Sport. Its not like you the logo right next to your 335i or you debadged it and just left the M, your car is clearly a 335i so I dont see how you are a poser. Only people that are going to flame you for it are the people here on the forums which is probably the #1 place for online criticism. That and youtube comments.

Actually unless you're a complete tool (which the OP obviously isn't) I don't think anyone sticks these things on to make people believe it's an M3 or whatever.
It's just a little personalisation step too far... |

Sorry OP....i thought that badge came standard and you hadn't opted for the de-badge option (thought it was an M-Sport that came with a badge). If you've added it...then i've gotta agree with everyone....lose it man.

I would say the exterior M badge would be okay if you had a tune done to the motor and were putting out more power than the average 335i. The M Sport line does have some nice cosmetic additions that the other lines don't but performance wise it is a similar deal.
I have a M sport myself as I think the car looks better with this trim and I love the thick steering wheel and hex aluminum trim and the EB2 colour. But I wouldn't put an M badge on the exterior unless it came that way from BMW. Too much a poseur! Your Melbourne Red looks striking and the black kidney grills really work. |

No need to front it, your car is already nice as is. Any badging on any car is a big no no.
eg: Si badge on a Civic, RS badge on an S-model of an Audi, AMG on a a Mercedes...yeah you get the point.

The M badge on the rear is fine...as long as it has an M car stuck to it.
Since it doesn't, you chose poorly. ![]()

I vote no on the M badge on the trunk lid. It is out of place since it is not an M car. The other M badges that come from the factory are of course ok on a non-M car.

Every time someone gets in my car (I haven't rebadged) "oh woah this is an ///M?"
"No, it's a 335i. BMW just threw a ton of ///M stickers to see how many would stick." Wish they would give us the M-Perf parts, but leave the stickers at the factory.
