Help needed for installing TMC tuning kit - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I received the tuning kit (tuning box, cable, and plug). Can anyone w/experience in installing the kit tell me where to put this plug? Also, is it necessary to disconnect the battery?

just follow the installation guide for bms.
