Thanks for chiming in. I checked under the boot floor and as you suspected, there was a combox installed.

Model# BE B007; BMW 84109257150 Combox Media BN2010, Date 8-6-12

Do you know who originally got this to work? Or do you know how to yourself? I am looking to add BT audio streaming as well as Internet capabilities if possible.

Also, I am waiting on my cable to arrive to find out those variables in the VCM that Shawn asked about to see if that helps my situation.

It was Dos1973 (or Dos sth, member from Germany) who got it working. Basically he upgraded from 6NH to 6NK for free. Everything's on page 70-sth on this thread.

For F30 they're the same thing - M-sport brakes/M-performance brakes.
For safety u should code it cos I think it changes the settings for ABS & DSC.

It was Dos indeed, and for what its worth he had the pro navi option as well (something I suspect beeing connected to the castrated combox)

Because then too many people would do it themselves instead of paying ridiculous dealer prices? (not just bmw for that all brands do it)

One is a factory fitted option that's exculsive to M-sport package & the other is a retrofit that's available to everyone.
They are coded identically but one's already coded from factory (former case) & the latter at time of retrofit.

Perhaps, in regards to the GPS_UHR, it is mainly meant for when you cross timezones in your car? In that sense the car will see by GPS when you enter a new timezone and might adjust accordingly?
