my f30 just got a front bumper chip and on bottom. what should i use for touch up?

so sad parked too close to the damn fuckin curb.

OEM touch up kits. They come with small bottles of base and clear coat with applicators.

I just bought from automotivetouchup. I got those touch up pens and the clear coat thing. Will that work? Ugh so pissed

I have fixed a few chips on my F30 with Dr. Colorchip and it works perfectly every time. Even out in the sun, I can't find where the chips I fixed are located, it works that well. It does take some patience depending on how deep the chip is, as it fills it in layer by layer so that you do not have a pit, which can make the chip more visible.

I feel your pain. I gave up on being pissed about chips in the front. I drive on the highway a lot so it's impossible to avoid, I just touch up with matching BMW touch up and just enjoy the car. The other day a salt truck decided to turn on the salt right next to me...yeah it jacked up my bumper but I've learned it's just something that happens unless your car is a garage queen.

should i take it to the shop or nah? im thinkin about it ugh. i just bought the touch up paint. my f30 is the msport so i think its a little lower? gona start doin back up parking lol. so sad this car's not even month old

I think and this is my personal opinion wait out the winter, and have the body shop retouch it in spring and then have the front wrapped in that 3m clear bra. From what I understand it is virtually undetectable and around $500-600. They do the hood and fenders.

I'm not doing it because I'm waiting to get an m sport front bumper then ill do it I guess.

Is it worth it to get clear bra? I just took my car retouched from the dealer. It looks alright. Just so sad i got it scraped. I have the m sport front bumper but so sad it got chipped.

Personally I say no only because I dont get too bummed about the front of the car getting chips/scratches. Like I said its a part of every day driving.

On a more personal note and " no offense" since I dont even own an M car, but if it were an M3 Id probably clear bra it. To me it just means that much more special and Id hate to ruin it. Not that my car isnt special to me, but you know ///M is ///M and its a special machine.
