Lol...this whole track-your-bmw thing is pretty cool. And also, I am 25 buying my first bimmer so pretty exciting times for me. AND I am coming over from a Honda, so you can imagine the overwhelmingness.

Yeah my CA will get in touch with me as soon as it gets on the truck to schedule delivery.

Yeah, that's a bummer. Was originally scheduled to come in by today 7AM local time. Missed a whole a business day.
Well, according to my guesstimate based on information provided by marinetraffic it should dock in the next 4-6 hours. Just before Tuesday AM. I am guessing the processing wouldn't start until at least Tuesday business hours.

I was just about to ask you the same. My CA hasn't contacted me yet, I think I'll shoot him an e-mail. If your CA says the 18th then hopefully mine will be arriving then as well...

My ca emailed me the update car should arrive at the dealership 15-17.

Are they always offloaded? Any go straight through (stay on same ship they entered Bremerhaven on)?

I *think* my car sat for about a week at Bremerhaven, but I don't think that's out of the ordinary. Since you are coming from SA, I would suggest you ask in one of those threads. Mine was built in Munich.

My car made it to the dealership today. I stopped by to see it I neglected to take any photos but I did get to start it. I will take delivery on Monday.

It has been over cast and raining in Virginia. I was going to get it washed and install the m sport kidney grills first.

Same as Stifle, too rainy and overcast to take pics, but picked up my car last Friday!!!!

Also, see my rant over in the Mid Atlantic regional form regarding my dealer's unwillingness to code LUM for ASS....

Congrats on picking up the car!

My dealer is also refusing to code 'remember last setting' for ASS. Saying it causes other electronics to malfunction and waiting for an updated release from BMW regarding that.

Heading over now to check out the Mid-Atlantic forum.

I'm wondering if this is actually a new problem they have with the newer navigation coding, or just a standard excuse BMW is now giving their dealerships to give to us.

My NYC dealer told me the exact same thing (he said currently ASS programming makes navigation malfunction, and BMW is working on it and he'll let me know as soon as it's fixed so I can get ASS coded).

Maybe someone should ring up BMWNA and see if there's any credit to this.
