Thanks.

And no probs re photos, I'll wait for some sun then take some. Not much Coral Red in the boot mind, and I've bought a "sport" line bootliner too.

£70 ish rings a bell.

Very easy to fit, the web guides tell you to remove bolts and a seal, but you can do it without I found it easier to just use fingers through the grill front to press in the tabs.

Cheers,

Mat
Thanks Mat, did you get them from your local dealer?

£70 ish. Very impressive service, arrived in 2 days very well packed and can't recommend enough.

Cheers

Mat

Just checked the quote from my dealer.

£34.92+VAT per grille is the UK "RRP" from BMW, so thats £83 ish inc VAT.

Cheers

hahahahaha ..... who says kids can't travel in style.

It gets worse! I've got my black Thule roofbox to go on for xmas plus my steel winter wheels + caps with F3X sized tyres (206/60/16)! Never bothered with splashing out big $$$ on winter alloys, always got funny looks in the UK but quite the norm when we do our drive down to Austria.

There was some sun today, so spent time doing a wash then have taken some internal shots, I think there's enough MG on here now to know what the outside looks like

(note, this is with the sport-line bootliner, but the carpet underneath is just the same colour as one the seat backs that face into the boot)

and one external shot, loving the lights

Nice, like the boot liner. I'd prob get the black one since I've got black leather. However if you already have the E91 boot liner then it's a close fit, there is prob about 2cm gap on most sides but not enough to bother me. Saved me the 70 or so quid.

I notice you have an umbrella boot. For some reason they have removed the umbrella holder from the E91 load liner. Damn you BMW!

I've found a solution - I've used the other flap in the boot (as I've not got the extended boot space thing) and will just move it if I need to put the cover in there

Thanks. I've just removed the adaptive fastening thing from the car and whacked in the umbrella.

Thanks for posting pics of the boot!
The sport line trunk mat really fits well with the rest of the interior.

That coral red interior is really making me re-think EBII and black for the F31!

Enjoy the new touring, it looks great.

Review after 1800 miles

So, my car has now done 1800 miles in a month, and here are my thoughts.
  • Loving the adaptive headlights, still can't believe how good (or mad) they are!
  • Enjoying the power, seems as quick as my MINI Cooper S but doesn't make as much fuss about it
  • Very pleased with the economy, 49.5mpg average so far and seems to be increasing
  • Supremely comfortable, in fact almost too much adjustment between seat and steering wheel, seem to have found the perfect setting for me (for now ;-) The leather is fab to sit on!
  • Loving all the little touches inside, such as the interior lights being on dim when unlocked then getting brighter for the seat corresponding to the door that has been opened (plus many others of this kind of thing)
  • Fits in the garage!
  • Boot plenty big enough for everything
  • Boot liner very impressive for quality and non-slip nature
  • Positive comments from friends, and from neighbours!
  • Nothing disappointing so far, and pleased this forum had the pen drive idea, so I don't feel I needed to pay the £££ for the enhanced media stuff

Overall
